David Troiano, Clinician

NPM Detroit invites all Cantors, Choir Members, and Music Directors to this Vocal Technique Workshop. David Troiano holds a Master Degree from Wayne State University in Voice and a DMA from University of Michigan in Organ Performance. He also earned a MAPM in Pastoral Ministry from SS. Cyril and Methodius Seminary. He served as Choral director for the International Symphony of Port Huron and Sarnia and is currently directing the Filarets Chorus of Detroit. Mr. Troiano has been a music minister in the Archdiocese for 41 years and is currently the music director at St. Clare of Montefalco in Grosse Pointe Park.

After lunch, we will have a Master Class where participants can sing for Mr. Troiano and receive feedback on their technique. Watching, listening, and participating in this process, even if you are not the singer, is a great way to learn more about your own voice, as we all tend to have similar vocal issues! If you don’t get a chance to sign up to participate in the Master Class in advance, you may still have an opportunity to sign up that morning, so come prepared and bring several copies of your music.

For questions or info about parish group discounts (5 or more), contact Rob Buzaitis at 248-880- 0528 or rob.buzaitis@gmail.com.

Continental Breakfast and Lunch will be provided.

Fee: Members of NPM Detroit – $15 Non-Members – $25
