Deborah Frontczak will review the skills taught in the Vocal Tech workshops (improve their breathing, posture, and voice production) and help singers build upon the skills taught during our Vocal Tech I Workshops. Her presentation combines humor with a hands-on approach, allowing everyone to learn and understand key tools for better singing.

After lunch, we will have a Master Class where up to 8 participants can sing for Ms. Frontczak and receive feedback on their technique – participants are asked to prepare a psalm, hymn, or liturgical song. Watching, listening, and participating in this process, even if you are not the singer, is a great way to learn more about your own voice, as we all tend to have similar vocal issues! To sign up for the Master Class, send an e-mail to npmdetroit@gmail.com. If you don’t get a chance to sign up to participate in the Master Class in advance, you may still have an opportunity to sign up that morning, so come prepared and bring 3 copies of your music.

Ms. Frontczak is a noted vocalist and long-time Music Director, having served the Detroit, Lansing and Cleveland Dioceses since 1990. She holds a Master’s Degree from Wayne State University in Applied Voice and a Professional Studies Diploma from the Cleveland Institute of Music in Voice Performance, and she has been teaching private lessons and giving workshops for over 25 years.
